Dan was born and raised in Woodstock, New York. He studied
architecture at the New York Institute of Technology and Boston Architectural Center. He ran his own business, Artisan Stoneworks,
for a number of years before deciding to commit completely to the pursuit of his art. He maintains a small studio in
Portsmouth, RI where he lives with his partner Jennifer and their dog and cat.
